Libsyn: Podcast Audience Tops 45
Libsyn, a popular podcast hosting provider, reports that it had 45 million unique podcast users in the first quarter of 2006. "We think it's safe to say more then 45 million people listened to and watched podcasts off the Libsyn network in the first quarter of 2006. That is approximately a 200% increase from Q4 2005 (about 25 million). " According to Libsyn, their numbers track pretty well the Alexa ratings libsyn.com has seen: 
Libsyn's numbers represents a liberal criteria for their audience, counting all visitors to libsyn.com requesting podcast media, RSS feeds, etc., in Q1.
