Mobilcast Offers Winter Olympic Podcasts via Mobile
Melodeo, a company that specializes in software and services that bring digital media content to mobile phones, has announced that it is providing 2006 Winter Olympics updates, directly to mobile phones. To access Olympic updates, Mobilcast customers launch Mobilcast on their mobile phones and go to the Olympic Update channel. There they will find a selection of podcasts about the Winter Games, including a daily medal count and "Fan590 Road to Turin Update" , produced by Fan590 radio in Toronto. In addition, Mobilcast listeners can register to receive alerts when podcasts are updated, making it faster and easier to stay up to date. There is a variety of Olympic Podcast Coverage already available for computers and portable media players.
