podcastGo Intros Video Podcast
podcastGO has announced the launch of a new video podcast network. podcastGO plans to offer visitors short format content supported by accompanying text that can be viewed on any computer or downloaded to mobile devices such as cell phones and video ipods. In addition to announcing the network, podcastGo has announced several partnerships to bring known content to video podcasting.

Mopar has joined the ranks of corporate video podcasters, introducing Mo-Pod, a new site and video podcast for "the Mopar faithful." The Mo-Pod video podcast showcases videos of cool cars, decked-out garages, car club events, professional and grassroots racing action. "The way people are finding entertainment and getting their information is rapidly changing," said Kevin Miller, Senior Manager, Mopar Brand, Performance & Motorsports. "The new Podcast format gives Mopar enthusiasts a forum on which to show the world their spirit, using the hot new podcast communications medium."

The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) is calling on all Provincial governments to restrict the use of iPods, cell phones and other electronic devices by novice drivers. "Novice drivers are subject to many restrictions as they learn to drive, such as not driving on four-lane highways and not driving during certain hours," said CAA President David Flewelling. "By also restricting the use of electronic devices, such as cell phones, MP3 players and wireless hand-held devices, they can truly focus on the driving task." "It is also our hope that a preventative measure like this one will create a generation of motorists who recognize the severe implications of driver distractions - and work towards reducing them where they can."

A pink iPod Mini, just four inches long, flushed down the toilet at the South Bay College Arts and Sciences building has finally been removed, after clogging pipes for the entire spring semester and leading to thousands of dollars of maintenance work. The iPod was accidentally flushed by a student and got stuck in such a way that maintenance crews could not get it out. They tried to break the iPod into pieces, but that failed. One maintenance worker called the iPod mini "indestructible".
