Tower Records Plans
Tower Records is planning a major podcast initiative, TowerPod, that will be announced at the upcoming SXSW Festival, being held in Austin, Texas March 10-19. The 90-store chain plans to open a new online service this summer that will let visitors create their own podcasts using a catalog of 6,000 songs, which Tower will provide free of charge.
