ABC Planning Ad Supported Video
Walt Disney is planning to expand the availabiity of its ABC shows, as part of its plans to create the "network of the future," according to CEO Bob Iger. The move follows a recent report that consumers prefer commercial-sponsored on-demand video content to paying $1.99 for programs without commercials by a greater than three-to-one margin. Shows will be made available as downloads, free of charge, via a soon-to-launch site called My ABC.
