PodcasterCon 2006: There's More to Podcasting than Making
At the recent PodcasterCon 2006, hundreds of podcasters from around the country came to Chapel Hill, North Carolina January 7th for a unique unconference about podcasting. Sessions were organized by individual podcasters on topics that they were interested in, ranging from Advanced Podcasting Equipment to Women in Podcasting. 
Murphey Hall, in the heart of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, was the home base for PodcasterCon 2006. A flurry of late registrations for the free un-conference, however, brought the number of participants up to and beyond the maximum capacity for Murphey Hall's big lecture auditorium! The general sessions at the conference were moved to an auditorium in nearby Carroll Hall, as a result of the large crowd.
